  • There's a song from Newfoundland, I believe, about a community coming together to rescue a horse from falling through the ice in a pond ("Tickle Cove Pond"). This reminded me a lot of that. When we domesticate animals, we make them very dependent on us and we need to keep up our end of the bargain.

  • The major missed opportunity for the GOP is MUSLIMS! Family-oriented, hard working, morally conservative, faith-based. There are lots of Muslims that are part of America beyond the first generation, and the VAST majority of Muslim immigrants are moderates looking for peace and the American dream.
